Performance

Performance Measures

HottingerSignals may report the following performance measures:

  •  Wins
  •  Losses
  •  Win %
  •  Net Index Points
  •  Average Result
  •  Sharpe Ratio
  •  Sortino Ratio

These measures are calculated from the historical signal results.

Index Points, Not Option Prices

HottingerSignals uses the underlying index values for calculating and
reporting historical signal results.
The results therefore represent index-point performance and are not a
statement of the dollar return from trading a particular option or other
investment product.

What the Results Mean

The historical results show how the HottingerSignals methodology has
performed when applied to the historical index data.
They are intended to provide a transparent record of signal
performance.

Actual results from implementing a signal may differ because of
execution prices, transaction costs, spreads, commissions, taxes,
position sizing, leverage, and the specific financial instrument used.
Past performance does not guarantee future results.
